Charges dropped against mom, daughter after viral arrest body cam released

Only because she got up in the officers grill to do so. Like I said I get what she was doing, but her getting up close to the officer was not a good idea on her part. Could have been perceived as a threat by the officer.

Do you think maybe she had a laser beam in her butt? How could her backside be perceived as a threat? She immediately turned her back to the officer.

Next time your in a public area and see a cop, you go running up to him and get 6 inches from him and see what happens. Even turn your back to him if you want. Just make sure someone is taking video.

You know what forgot the fact of even a cop, do it to a random person, see what happens.

That isn't even close to what happened. She didn't run up to a cop. You make it sound like she charged him. She did nothing of the sort. She stepped between them and attempted to get her mother to back away. I've stepped between people who were about to get into a fight just like that several times. NOTHING about what she did could have been perceived as a threat by any logical person. That is exactly why the cop was suspended. He should be thankful that he still has a job.

Probably shouldn't have his job. Although I'll admit it's possible he just had a bad day.

Man that's bad. What a jerk and very disrespectful.

In today's climate I have no idea how this clown kept his job. Police officers are expected to serve and protect, this guy obviously is not a servant!

He does not need to be a police officer. He instigated the trouble from the beginning. He also arrested people for no reason. In this case I'm glad the mother filed a suit. He should be fired no doubt about it.

I am not going to watch the video for time reasons. There are policemen/women who make mistakes and some are bad policepeople and shouldn't be policepeople.

Having said that, I learned at an early age..."never tick-off a stupid person with power".

That's phenomenal.
