This beer is currently trending on Untappd. That's gotta be a first for Braxton.

So I guess no one is going to ship any to me. Sad!

Brother-in-law works for Graeter's and while I was at a Basketball game on Friday night, he was at Braxton working and he picked up two four packs for The Boss and me. :-)

On Sunday, after having lunch at the Wunderbar, we met some friends at Braxton and had a pint or two of Graeter's (that is what the barkeep called it) and while it was good and I could taste the chocolate, I was disappointed by not being able to taste the Rasberry.

The Graeter's Beer just might be headed to somewhere in the Northwest of the USA but then again, I wouldn't do that, as I guess it's illegal to ship beer!

If it makes its way to Etown I got you.

Bought a four pack and had one. I thought it was solid but I didnt' get a whole lot of chocolate or berry. I look forward to seeing how consistent the four are.

The lack of berry flavor is the main complaint I've heard thus far. Doesn't make sense to me, as it's a stout, so I wouldn't anticipate the fruit flavor to be very strong.

I have some of the ice cream in the freezer as well, so I'll have to try them together and see how closely it mimics it.

For anyone that is disappointed in the lack of berry, I highly recommend that you try Madtree's Rubus Cacao. It's still subtle, but definitely there. You can currently probably find this beer in any of your Kroger's. It's one of my favorites.

Woodburn's Chocolate Cherry Stout also has a nice berry flavor, not as subtle as Madtree's Rubus.

I say all this without having tried Braxton/Graeter's beer yet. Four pack waiting on me in the fridge.

I was wondering when you would be trying the Braxton/Greater's beer. Very curious to see what you think.

Cracked open two tonight. One cold and then let another warm up a little. I am disappointed and it left a lot to be desired in my opinion.

Lack of any Black Rasberry Flavor. I am a big fan of Milk Stouts and this was alright by my standards. If anyone feels like me after trying it and never had Madtree's Rubus Cacao, I promise you wont be disappointed.

Unfortunately this was like most Braxton Beers for me, just kinda meh. A for creativity on the collaboration. D+ on execution. Go with a C.

Dang. I was going to say the problem might be the temperature it's being drank at. Most people drink stouts too cold to get all the flavors. Sounds like it might just be a sub par beer.

Yeah, I had hoped a few opinions I saw was because some didnt let it sit a little but I just think its not that good.

I will fully admit, I am bias towards Madtree's Rubus but did my best to not let it affect my judgement haha!
