There are 36 positions on the All BGP Team and 200 and how many schools playing football in KY?

And at first glance I see at least two players you nominated on the team.

36 positions, 221 football playing schools. Assuming some play both ways, lets say each school has 15 "starters." That means there are roughly 3,315 players who could conceivably be on this team. BGP chooses 36. That means this is the top 1% of all players in the commonwealth. These are all terrific players!

Can I ask which players you nominated?

Which would have made for a good team were the website called "Northern Kentucky Preps"

Not to mention in order to be an ATHLETE you have to play two positions or more.

In the case of Simon Kenton and Ryle I would anticipate they have a very small number of guys playing both ways which means the only eligible spots would be at their specific Defensive and Offensive positions.

That means they are competing for even less possible positions.

Cameron Racke is probably the best athlete not on this list he played QB, RB, WR and also punted.

I always considered the ATH positions the elite of the BGP team. These are the guys who are out there getting it done at a high level in multiple phases of the game. If I remember correctly, the first couple of years BGP did this team, the ATH positions were actually called the IRONMAN team.

You remember wrong but you are right about our Athletes being Elite!

Morgan, Chislom, Ross, Bisek, Vennan, Racke, Carter, Holt, Turner and Kincaid belong on that list.

Hendrix and Paulson were chosen.

Out of curiosity:

How many of those guys have already made First or Second Team on the previously announced All-State Teams ? Brian Carter maybe?

And I should add everyone, we can all thank Joey Fosko @westsider for making the Athletes such a big part of the All BGP Team.
