Two ties, Rowan County never had lead. Elliott County's biggest lead was 10. Porter and Dickerson had 17 apiece, Evans 14 and Spencer had 11 for Elliott County. No stats for Rowan Council.

Very Sloppy game for Elliott and didn't play well, shows there strength to still get the W. The game was really never in doubt, Rowan made some runs but Elliott made the plays when needed. What a veteran ball club does. Good luck lions in the all A and hopefully they can make some noise!!

Been a rough draw last couple years for Elliott. I believe JC won 1 recently with last 3 seasons

For the 16th 2013 Rowan Co. and in 2012 Rowan lost to by 2 to Christian Co. in state championship.

Before Johnson Central from the 15th, Shelby Valley won in 2010.

Elliott has always been the #1 team in the 16th.

 

Well I agree was just saying that because here on BGP inside the 16th Region Week 2. Elliott was 3rd behind West and Boyd. Week 4 Boyd was 1st Elliott was 2nd. and Week 5 Jan. 1, 17 Elliott was actually ranked 4th behind Greenup, Boyd, and Rowan.

Not the last time for the 15th, but it's worthy to note that Shelby Valley won the Sweet 16 in 2010.
