Cincinnati/NKY 1-3" Owensboro 1-2" Elizabethtown 2-4" Louisville, Lexington 2-4" Georgetown 2-4" Richmond 1-3" Maysville 2-4" Between Mt. Sterling-Ashland 3-5" Pikeville 2-4" Dusting to 1" south of these areas to around the Tennessee border These totals are through Friday.

Southern Indiana/Louisville area around 5 am ET Should start moving into the Cincinnati/NKY area after 6 am ET The rest of the area heaviest accumulation areas by late morning. Any accumulations in the morning look to be light. Also Looks like the heaviest snow fall may hold off until the early afternoon. This information is as of the 18Z NAM model with the HRRR. Maybe able to give an update later this evening. More likely it will be early in the morning

January 5, 20179 yr Author Thought I would take a quick look at the Weather Prediction Center site. The first map shows the area with the possibility of getting 4" tomorrow. Those on the boarder with southern Indiana should stay alert. The total snow accumulations maybe going up. The second map shows those in SEKY should be on the lookout from tomorrow night into Friday.

Had to wait in a prescription line 15 deep, then basically refill my fridge because all that was in there was a couple beers and a couple apples, and some condiments. And an unopened half gallon of Dec. 21 dated milk. It's skim, so it's probably still good. Place was packed with people and several sale items were long gone.
