January 15, 20179 yr Checking out Hidden Figures in about 20 minutes. Good movie as far as a story goes. Interesting. Inspirational. Feel good movie. Well worth the time and money to see it. You won't get any Oscar performances out of it. Just a really nice feel-good movie.

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword - Guy Richie directing, Charlie Hunnam starring as King Arthur. Murder On The Orient Express - Based on the famous Agatha Christie novel. Kenneth Branagh directing and starring, along with Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Daisy Ridley. Star Wars Episode VIII - Duh. That's a remake of a Eastwood film isn't it?
January 17, 20179 yr Split Hopefully this will be a comeback for writer/director M. Night Shyamalan. Looks promising. James McAvoy to star in the thriller. This looks edge of your seat good!

Battle of the Sexes - Billie Jean King v. Bobby Riggs as played by Emma Stone and Steve Carell. Mary Magdalene - Rooney Mara gets title role. Joaquin Phoenix as Jesus. Creed 2 - Really liked the first one.

January 17, 20179 yr Moonlight has been getting Oscar mention. That movie will be nominated for about a bojillion Oscars. It's supposed to be really solid and the Academy will go out of its way to make up for the #OscarsSoWhite PR mess from last year. I'm seeing it this weekend I think.
