If I am the coach, I tell the returner to stand on the 10 yard line. If you have to go inside the 10 to catch it, let it go. If you go inside the 10 and do catch or drop it (does not matter which), I will immediately take your scholarship away. I just cannot believe college AND NFL players make this mistake...

Its being coached this way for some reason. I know for instance with the Bengals this year their punt returner (Alex Erickson) fielded 5 punts in a row inside the 10. He continued to do it so obviously he was told to keep doing it because I highly doubt he was stupid enough to do it 5 times in a row in spite of the coaches telling him not to. I'm with you though I just don't understand it.

December 31, 20169 yr FSU is going to lose Cook this year, but the kid they got coming in Cam Akers is an absolute stud.
