Nicholas lost to Rowan 42-6. They struggled badly. No disrepect meant.

Have you heard anything about the coaches son for Bracken?

 

By the description of the action of the scrimmage in the Maysville Ledger Independent, Coach Brausch's son had at least one TD pass in the game, so would assume he has taken over for last year's QB Trey Deaton . Bracken County is one of a handful of schools in the State that has yet to turn in a roster to the KHSAA, so its hard to tell who is playing where, what number they wear,etc., hope they get this straightened out

Russell 7-0 after one but East is driving on them. So far even with the lead East is winning the mental game. They are much improved.

Now 7-6 Russell. Russell defense looks ok but you can tell they are not the team of this time last year.

22-12 Russell. East fumbled and gave them a short field after a score. East drove and scored on a nice drive.

 

Russell now trying go routes to score before the end of the varsity segment.

The overall final score was 36-12, Russell. The first three quarters were mostly varsity action for both teams. Russell subbed some, but the 1's saw most of the reps. Devils led 28-12 after 3. 4th quarter was a continuously running clock featuring jv and freshmen. Russell had the only score.
