2 out of 3 ain't bad for the Cross, but I'm sure they would have liked to gotten the 3 game sweep tonight up on the "hill".

I had to laugh, Ty Houston took 2 of the Cross' first 3 shots and they were both air-balls. Each time I looked across at his dad Troy.......Priceless! Can't wait to give him some crap tomorrow at work. :lol2:

BTW, Ty can PLAY!

I feel bad for the HC seniors, they won a lot of games together since the 8th grade. Its tough watching those lose night in and night out.

Strange high school careers for those seniors who play football also. Previous years they lost a lot in football but they won in football this year. Previous years they won a lot in basket but now they are losing in basketball this year.

Thanks to LB13 for bringing me a Christmas gift before we went on the air. You the man LB.

Is this a team of kids that matured early? Or what's the scoop?

5 out of the 7 seniors played AAU together won a lot of games... They don't get to play together at HC... The head coach has a different system and philosophies than they are use to playing.

Expected score to be more of a spread. Did HC stay close most of the game?

That's obvious. His philosophy of making sure his son plays more minutes than anybody else is definately different than what they are you used to I'm sure. What is wrong with this coach at HC? How blind can a parent/ coach be? And what is with pulling a player for a mistake made, without giving them time to play thru it, adjust and over come? Yet his son plays 28 minutes a game and has 2 points (freethows) never made a shot, which is fine except what handful of shots he did take half were just shots that didn't need to be taken. He is a huge liabilty on defense! Mistake after mistake, yet plays 28 minutes. It's surprising this game was ever as closer as it was. What's the deal with number 35? You put him in, he is the only player to consistently box out, crash the boards and he gets what 3--5 minutes a game? Looks like he was pulled for giving up a basket after he ran the length of the for to defend 2 and everybody else was jogging along. Why not go deeper on the bench? What you are doing is not working obviously. It has been said many times that a definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting a different result. Well coach, watching you coach this team is nothing short of insanity.

I asked the question in another thread if this coaches agenda was to win games or make his son look good. Well it's obvious what his intentions are, except that he is doing neither!
