Ryle at Campbell County Predictions

Featured Replies

Are they both running backs? If so I doubt they would start at Male or X at that position. I'm sure they are both fine players, but it may be a little bit early to declare them the best in the state.

Yeah they would play for any team in the state. Maybe not at RB, and FB but they are proven at WR, LB, CB and on special teams and the statement was made based on there talent not really saying they are the best RB's in the state. Obviously Scott Gray isn't a Victor Anderson but you would be crazy to think Scott Gray wouldn't have a starting position at WR, or DB on X. I'll tell you one thing they are both All-State players that is sure.

I was not referring to offense necessarily. Obviously, Doug and Vic are the two best running backs in the state. I was just saying that Scott and Vince are the type of players that would start somewhere for any team in the state.

Having watched these 2 since they were very young, I'd agree with you, Pretty Boy, that both would start for any team in the state. As for All-State, that jury is still out, but it could very well come back with a conviction that both ARE All-State....

Raiders pour it on in the second half pounding the running game.

I hope its a nice night out. Be easier for the QB to get back in the groove of things that way.

While not exactly a lover of all things purple, I do see the Camels having a better chance here than most!! They played them close last year, and have really turned their program around. Don't think we know much about them due to their non-district schedule with a couple of lopsided wins over two patsys and close loss to Lebanon?? Not sure Ryle has shown much more however, with a convincing loss to Glen Este, a narrow win over an 0-4 team, and a bit of a puzzler (to me at least) in a 34-20 win over single A NCC??

Playing at home, and with a belief they should have won last years game; I see this game close, despite the returning starters for Ryle. Logic would say Ryle in a nailbiter, but an upset wouldn't be a shock!! Surprized to not hear from the Camel faithful, especially given their earlier "best 4-A team in NKY" chorus??

Your analysis of Ryle's games that you probably did not see is not accurate but that does not matter. All 3 games so far mean nothing. This game is a big game for both teams. Campbell was probably the best 4A team in the state last year not to make the playoffs. Should be a great game. I think Ryle gets their #1 QB back this week and that is a plus for the Raiders.

Campbell's rock solid D will keep them in the game.

Sorry about not throwing down some threads on the best 4A team in NKY(CAMELS), i have been out of town. Now, the camels in many years past has been a dismal football program. With the unusal situation of finding a head football coach, (nobody wanted the job) coach Styers Steps up an produced his first of many winning seasons. The mental approach to the game, the buzz in the county has changed due to the effort of Troy Styers.

Last year the boys were well coached and played at a higher level, but did'nt understand how to win the big games. Now they do. This year and especially this game against Ryle, "it's not revenge the boys are after, it's the RECOGNING".

I like Ryle in this one. I think that it'll be a good one, but nothing like last years. I predict a 14 point win for Ryle, sealing it in the 4th.

I think he may mean a reckoning. You know, a settling of an old account. Real western justice type stuff.

Campbell County lost a lot on defense. I think their stud LB's all graduated.

Campbell did lose matt sauerbeck, but they still have his little brother brian. who really isnt that little lol. Campbells defense is playing good, and the team will be ready for this game. I expect a great game from great teams, with Campbell coming out on top. Lets go CAMELS
