Ryle at Campbell County Predictions

Featured Replies

Ryle and the two-legged Camels go at it in this crucial district game.

Will the Camels load up to stop the Ryle running attack?

Can Campbell Co. move the ball against Ryle?

IMO Ryle's Murray and Gray are very good offensive players but they can beat you on defense and special teams and will be the difference in this one.

Ryle is for real this year. This will be a very, very good game.

Ryle has 3 returning starters coming off the DL this week. A 3 year starter on the line, and the QB and a WR who started most all of last season. I look for Ryle to really start putting things together in this game. I'll go with Ryle in a hard hitting game.

Chris Ross has started since his Soph. year, he is a senior now and the same with Trevor Burtraw...

Ryle will be too much for Campbell in this one. And as Pretty Boy said, they return 3 starters off the DL this week so i look for the Raiders to roll.

I have heard that Ryle is for real (hey thats a pretty good slogan) this year. Will they be tested before the playoffs?

Ryle's district isn't too shabby. All of the teams are much improved from years past so they will be battle tested. SK, Boone, Dixie, and Holmes will all show them a different style of play, so they will definetly be prepared. Also they played a tough non district schedule (Glen Este, Newcath, Dunbar) which will also help.

If the Raiders start to play well offensively, they will win a lot of games pretty big IMO and may not have many close games until the playoffs. They hit hard and have good team speed to the ball on D and they run the ball with authority. They've had a lot of practice during the first 3 weeks with teams stacking up against the run. Their success will depend on offensive improvement in the air over the year and that is very likely. Vince Murray and Scott Gray are extremely talented and tough players - fun to watch and would start for any teams in Kentucky. There'a a good photo of Vince on the Ryle-Dunbar game thread and a good shot of Scott as one of the 3 login photos.

All of the teams are imporved from years past? What NKY football have you been watching?

wow, i wouldnt rule out campbell yet. There a very good team, and know that they should have won the game last year. They will be ready

I meant there arent any guaranteed wins like in years past. I'm sure Ryle will run the table in NKY 4A but I was simply stating that with Holmes, Campbell, and SK being improved from years past, the overall district is stronger.

But IMO Ryle will handle each one of those teams except MAYBE Dixie or Boone.

Ryle from what I have heard is the clear #1 team in 4A.

Scotty Gray may be the most underrated player in NKY.

He is one tough player and plays both ways and is a solid defensive player.

Getting the QB back will only help.

Dunbar did a decent job against the run and Ryle hit a couple of passes to loosen things up.

If Ryle's starting QB can return to form and bring the passing game back to life, Ryle will likely be the third best team in NKY.

Campbell County lost a lot on defense. I think their stud LB's all graduated.

I take Ryle by a couple of scores.

Are they both running backs? If so I doubt they would start at Male or X at that position. I'm sure they are both fine players, but it may be a little bit early to declare them the best in the state.
