Great team effort by Ryle tonight. Freshman- Douthit really shined tonight with 22 points as did 8th grader Bree Crittendon. Schwartz, Scherr, and McGregor were solid as well...The team looks like they're learning how to play together and seem to be getting better each game.

Murray led by 5 or so at the half, but the underdog Raiders had a huge 3rd quarter and just kept going. Ryle with 5 players in double digits, The 2 freshmen Scherr and Douthit with 23 and 22. 4 of the Lady Tigers also reached double digits. Players were tough as nails on both teams. I assume young Ryle (5-6) will take on Butler (7-1) in the morning, and Manual (9-0) gets Sacred Heart (7-0) on the other side of the bracket of the final four. Good luck to all the teams playing!

Great win for the Raiders! Wow!

Murray was ranked 6 in state this week while many questioned Ryle being in the top 5 of the 9th region pre-season and more so with their early season struggles without Scherr. Congrats Ladies!

Keep dancing, Cinderella!

Huge win! Looks like Brie is following in big sis footsteps. Good luck to these fine ladies as they continue to grow as a team and only get better.

I felt like as the game went on Brie got more confident. She is going to be good...

Ryle has as much upside as any team in the 9th region. Scheer is great orchestrating, they have some top-notch athletes who can score, and they really play together.

What will be really interesting to watch is how they evolve defensively as their depth develops. Ryle could really bring the pressure by year end.

Raiders are playing very well! I knew they would be good, but they seem to be exceeding many expectations!

I still have one worry for them as an Achilles and it will be interesting to see how that plays out as more teams scout them and learn their personnel. But I wouldn't want to play them straight up in the region right now!
