After watching the video I would dispute the "wild shot" comment. Great drive. Just didn't finish well.

The good drive to the basket doesn't change the fact that the shot was wild and forced. Left to much time, in my opinion. He should have made sure he was the last one to touch that basketball and live with a miss and OT as worst possible outcome

We will disagree. Trust your player. He made a great drive and got to the rim. I'll take my chances and I will also assume my team isn't going to forget to get back to prevent the long pass.

Learn the painful lesson now so it doesn't happen in March.

The shot wasn't wild. For starters Sean saw an opening and took it and I think he was even surprised he had a pretty good opening to get there. The shot may have looked a little wild just because he got slightly tripped up. I would trust him with that shot 10/10 times.

Bottom line is Cooper showed that they can more than play and can possibly beat the top teams in the State. Their young bench players will continue to grow their confidence as the season goes and they will challenge for the 9th Region because they can flat out play the defense Coach Sully demands. Nothing to be ashamed of and like you said, it won't happen in March.

I really can't believe this game was decided on a last second bucket. What was up with Trinity? Was King the only one missing?

Cooper is a good team

Those who know Cooper aren't surprised. More than a good ball club.

Cooper is legit. They play outstanding team defense and are an unselfish bunch. They can get scoring from anyone on the court. They compensate well for not having a true big man. I really would like to see them win our region this year. CovCath Cooper in the region will be a nice battle between our two best teams in the 9th

How about the job Sully has done at Cooper?
