Survivor: Game Changers

Featured Replies

I'd say if you voted on most overrated he'd most likely win. I don't think you'd get a majority though as there have been so many players over the course of Survivor.

Most overrated would go to the players who were just nice people who everyone liked and wound up winning by default. Any rational Survivor watcher will agree with that.

If you take out the social aspect of the game Survivor is just doing physical stuff and puzzles while hungry. Not remotely close to the same show.

Also probably a show that doesn't last 17 years and counting...

I think most fans probably rate those players pretty right. Russell is the one who gets in the GOAT conversation for no apparent reason

I'm not saying Russell is the greatest, but he is in no way, shape, or form overrated.

We'll just have to agree to disagree, I suppose.

So you don't think Russell is the second best player ever?

UK's 38-1 team didn't win the NCAA title. Does that mean they were overrated?

Yes.

Next question.

So you don't think Russell is the second best player ever?

He's top 10 easy and I think he is better than many people who have won.

Russell is the first player in the game of Survivor to ever find idols without needing a clue. He's the first player to go look for idols and find them. No one had ever done that before. Russell began that trend.

I don't have the energy for this. :lol2:

Man, you threw a softball. I had to hit it out of the park. :D

Agreed. I haven't watched every single season, but I have most seasons.

Yul is the one of the best I've ever seen.

I pointed that out to Junior Parker as we watched this season.

No.

Then you think Grant overrated him.

Calling someone overrated doesn't make them bad...

I also think he is better than people who have won. That doesn't mean he can't be overrated. Grant called him 2nd best ever. That is a higher rating than I think he deserves...thus, overrated.
