It isn't thought to be corruption but is a huge problem in Detroit, like everything else Detroit is a mess. But in close state election the one area in the state where Democrats have a huge advantage it isn't a good look.

How does that happen?

Do they give out more than one ballot to some voters,

or

Is someone just running a pile of extra ballots through the scanners,

or

Are they not properly recording voters as they get their ballots?

Next election we should make an obstacle course that the candidates have to go through to win the election. Fastest time wins. That would be awesome.

It seems these precincts were scanning ballots multiple times. 306 tallied via scanner and only 50 paper ballots in the locked ballot box. In Detroit, who do you think most of those multiple count ballots were cast for? They tried, they just did not cheat quite enough.

I just stated what the findings were. I also lived in Detroit when the mayor went to jail and a lot of people around him did as well. People on this board joke about corruption. You haven't seen corruption until you live around Detroit. The Mayor was getting rich meanwhile the city can't afford to turn on 40% of the street lights.

Detroit is what you get when a once thriving city is destroyed by liberal democrats with their unchecked Socialist policies & coruption.

All big cities have experienced their issues with corruption. So have most states, counties and towns of all sizes. Corruption knows no ideology, even though it's fun to beat that drum.

 

Money has that way of doing those kinds of things to people when they can couple it with power.

So most counties, cities and towns are or have been victims of corruption? Really? Can you show some stats to support that? How many instances have risen to the level of turning a once thriving community into what resembles a 3rd world country? Can you name a State, county, city, town or community that is being governed by Conservatives that has fallen like this?

Not their entire workforce. Detroit growth to a major city was solely due to the Auto industry. Detroit was a very unique situation.

Detroit's decline did not begin with the auto factories closing. It began in the early 60's when the first Democrat Mayor (Cavanaugh) was elected. His leadership and policies were in place when the 1967 riots happened and then the decline really ramped up. Anyone who was able, fled the city for the suburbs due to high tax rates and even higher crime rates. In 74' Coleman Young was elected and chased even more city residents to the suburbs. After Young, Kwame KilPatrick and his criminal gang ran the city completely into the ground. Detroit has been plagued by incompetence since the 60's. That is why it is an armpit today.
