No doubt officiating in real time is extremely difficult. I think you're right too about calling it "at that point..."

When it comes to black/white rules it shouldn't matter. Out of bounds is out of bounds. A foul is a foul. A walk is a walk.

 

When it comes to disciplining (and that's what a T or intentional is) on something that is subjective (more than a common foul) then every official should make sure they are 100% right in calling what they think they saw. If you're not 100% then IMO you can't make those calls.

 

If you are 100% convinced then call it.

yeah you say that. I was there and believe it or not was front row right in front of where the call was made. Definitely deserved T, just let it slip.

I would reiterate what some others have said on here: it's easy to see what you see outside the lines, and easy to pass judgement on some grainy video......

 

If you weren't between the lines, and none of you were, then you don't know what other actions may have transpired the other 30+ minutes of the game, and certainly can't tell what happened at point of interruption.
