Wow, looked like a very good game!

Sounded like a barnburner.Good win for LC.

I knew after watching the ROCKS scrimmage both of these teams, it would be a great game. That's why I picked it as the best game of the week in the poll thread.

What a tremendous win for the Knights after the big loss in their last game. The players and coaching staff obviously accomplished a lot in the off week. :thumb:

The Knights jumped out to a 13-0 lead but the kicking was horrid and Scott County got back in it. Catholic showed a lot of explosiveness tonight with several big plays by Revere, Caldwell, and Guy. Hancock played a solid game again. The LexCath defense was much better than two weeks ago despite giving up 36 points. Scott County played from a short field because of the poor kicking. They were able to move the ball fairly well early on the ground but resorted more to a passing game in the second half which played into Catholics hand I thought. Good to get this one behind us and looking forward to Franklin County next week.

WOW! Did not expect this outcome.

I will ditto that.:thumb:

Solid win for LC. Sounds like a great game.

I'd like to tip my hat to Coach Letton and his staff. They have had a lot of pressure and St X can make a lot of people look bad. I honestly thought Lex Cath would take some lumps early due to a young offensive line but I've said it all along that they have as good of skill kids across the board as anybody in the state. I think Isreal averaged about 10 yards a carry.

Ben Revere continues to be THE MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER IN THE STATE! He has legit arguments along with Caldwell to be the best at their positions in KY. He is the best cover corner I've seen in KY (I've seen a lot but haven't seen Minifield so I'll respectfully put him in the same category based on what others have said). Revere had 2 T.D.'s receiving and 2 int's + a 99 yard kick return tonight.

This game has also turned into a great little rivalry! Last year it was 49-42 in OT. If there is one game in the state that is fun to watch as a fan then this one is hard to beat!

Minnifield is playing safety for Henry Clay so I vote for Ben Revere as the top cover corner in the state.

It's gotten to the point that I want the other team to have a star receiver so I can watch Revere smother him. Pound for Pound, the best athlete I've ever seen in high school football including Minnifield.
