And you were also saying that your Tigers would do the same thing to Hazard this past Friday. We saw how that turned out. The Johnson Central staff and players know that this game will be a war and that it will go right down to the wire. I appreciate the support but some of these blowout predictions are just plain crazy.

Man enough to admit I was sorely mistaken! I hadn't seen Hazard any this year. Just knew they Lost to Pikeville and we handled Pikeville also knew we were REALLY GOOD! Only difference is Hazard knew us inside and out on offense. Like I've said. I watched a championship team play last Friday night! Hazard is LEGIT! Just as JCHS is! Some wanna bring up the Belfry game! Really? It's Belfry PLUS He@@ of a game! Russellville gets shutout by BW? Really? After Russellville gave FS all they wanted for the entire first half! That's kinda sad! Good thing you weren't playing little 1A BW! Woulda been lights OUT!! I can promise you 1 thing! This isn't 1A Russellville coming to BG!

Per calpreps Franklin-Simpson SOS is a 6.7 and JC's is a 14, thus JC wins in the SOS catergory by a long shot. Franklin-Simpson best win was against the #2,176 ranked team nationally (Greenwood) while JC has 3 wins against higher ranked opponents (Capital, South Charleston, Lexington Catholic - all in top 2,000) and a loss versus Belfry (top 400).

JC's opponents combine W/L = 93-76

FS's opponents combine W/L = 84-83

JC wins here and their district schedule was terrible but had to be played.

Calpreps has JC ranked 6th in the state overall (#1 4A) and Franklin-Simpson 15th in the state overall (#2 4A)

On a neutral field Calpreps predicts the following Score:

JC 35

FS 19

Everything you say is fact.

How about some more:

Louisville was a solid 26.5 point favorite over Kentucky

Tennessee was a huge pick over Vanderbilt.

Ole Miss was a slam dunk over Miss St.

If computers picked perfectly JC would be scheduled to lose again to South Warren.

So...see you Sunday.

I can already tell this is going to be the battle of the chip on the shoulder.

By the end of the week JC fans and Matney will make it out to be the Eagles vs. the Seattle Seahawks.

F-S fans are already desperately trying to make them out to be a massive underdog despite being undefeated and insistent on a #1 ranking all year.

HAHA

I am telling you all I expect a great game that is a Defensive WAR

I Just don't see this being a blowout. Both have fantastic defenses and pretty good offenses. Will be a battle for sure. Definitely home field advantage as well for FS being 20 minutes away from BG. I expect a close tough out of a game come Sunday. First 20 I think.

Don't let scoring margins fool you. Computer rankings are based largely on that which is why they come up wrong sometimes.

FS wants to win by running the ball, wearing down the defense, and controlling the clock. When that doesn't work, they just go to the air and crush the other team that way. Just ask South Warren. FS racked up almost 300 yards passing both times against SW, and FS didn't even try to start passing in either game until late in the first half. If FS passed it all the time, they would have put up 50 or 60 points on everybody and people would be talking about our QB and Mr. Football in the same sentence.

Clock-killing drives reduce the number of possessions and lower the potential score of a team. However, the victory won by doing that counts all the same.

14 down, 1 to go.

Both teams like to line it up and run it down their opposition's throat. If that doesn't work then they will go to the air. Very similar philosophies in my book. FS has some grown men on the line. 74 is their biggest, I believe maxpreps had him listed at 6'4 300 but the guy can flat out cover some ground. Like others have said, FS is capable of busting one loose at any time through the air or on the ground. Is 40 really a freshman? That is a good looking specimen. All I know is that JC is going to have to play flawlessly. You aren't 14-0 because of luck, they are a dang good ball club.

These teams won't be playing their schedules. They will be playing each other and it will be a war regardless of what a computer says.

How many times have you seen FS play? It's obvious that you only look at is the box score. Russellville played out of their head the first quarter and then FS put it away. I'm not sure you know enough about either team to be able to make a clear prediction. FS is good and JC is good and the best team will win.

Your right! What would I know? No possible way I could know anything about FS! You obviously obtain enough knowledge about BOTH teams that you've got it covered!

All I know is there will be a game on Sunday afternoon at 3:45 between FS and JC and it should be a good game. You are the one calling it a blowout before they even play the game..

#40 Carlos McKinney is a sophomore. He came up big last season in our playoff game with Hopkinsville.

Franklin-Simpson 28-27.

Haven't predicted a blowout! Just said JC will control the tempo in this one! That's all!

Franklin-Simpson 28-27.

Could definitely see this happening

Johnson Central WEARS OUT FS and controls the tempo in this one! Watch out for some special ones on D liable to get LIT UP!!!

WEAR OUT--BLOWOUT. PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING, isn't it? You say so much but yet so little I'm not sure that you even know what you're saying.
