While your right about the dropped passes. Your wrong if you think we throw the ball great. With passes several feet above receivers heads, as well as some at their feet, we do not throw the ball well. Even the catch that Conrad made (the play he was injured on) was a flying duck, wobbling all over the place. He made the catch and there were dropped balls that should have been caught today as well, but to say we are a great passing team is absurd.

I didn't say we are a great passing team. I was being sarcastic because he made good throws today that were simply not caught. That's been an issue all season.

Every short pass or screen he throws right into the lineman.

I missed the sarcasm. Easy to do with Kentucky football I suppose. He did make some throws that should have been caught, but I also seen some that 8 foot tall giants couldn't have reached, as well as a couple that were at the receivers feet. Basically what I'm getting at is that Johnson isn't as bad as some believe, but he certainly can't throw the ball accurately on a regular basis.

I believe it was @gametime who said after we hired their offensive coordinator. That he is great from 20 to 20 but not so much in the red zone, which seems to be very true here at UK too.

The offense was not the problem, although the red zone offense leaves a lot to be desired.

UK gets no pressure on the QB, which leads to the secondary getting picked apart. I believe that they have too many WR's on the roster and not enough DL and LB's who can compete in the SEC.

800 yards rushing in the game

Johnson throws the deep ball much better than the shorter throws. One of three things generally happen to throws that don't get batted down by the d-line...largest percentage sail on him, followed by those that are at the WR's feet and lastly, the ones that are dropped. Equates to poor to terrible passing game.

We can run the ball but struggle in the red zone, too predictable. Against Georgia, too safe, played not to lose.

The defense missed Jordan Jones immensely, yesterday. The D-line needs work, but is definitely improving. Courtney Love is too small for strong side LB in SEC, struggled to tackle Tenn TE yesterday. DB's give too much cushion for me. They take some terrible angles. And when making tackles attempt to knock the ball out before securing the tackle...which usually means they whiff. Saw several displays of that yesterday.

Not sure if you could tell on TV, Neyland is much more quiet, as much as you can call 110,000 people quiet, when we had first and second downs, impossible place to hear and be productive on third down. Kudos to them.

Always enjoy the trip to Knoxville, just never the result.
