Would you vote for Kanye West?

Featured Replies

Had this thought while eating lunch today when I saw a "Kanye 2020" tweet... Based on what we know of him, would you vote for Kanye West? Why or why not?

I'd have to know a whole lot more of him than reality TV, Access Hollywood and his music have given me. I'd vote for Kim before I'd vote for him. :D

HELL no!!! What would make him even the least bit qualified for the position?

Who would vote for him?

Kanye is an idiot. I hate the fact that I know everyone of his songs. So I would say he's a talented idiot. He could run as a republican and I would vote the same as today. Third party.

If only cursing were allowed....

At this time I highly doubt it. but I don't know enough about what his platform would be to change my thinking at this time.

I see him as an entertainer, not much more.

I'd be willing to hear him out.

Why? What has he ever said or accomplished that would make one say "maybe he has some good ideas?"

Frankly, I don't know enough about anything outside of his music to make a judgement here.

Here's what I know about Kanye:

1. He makes awesome music.

2. He's married to Kim K

Maybe I'm wrong about the point that @TheDeuce is trying to make, but I betmany Trump supporters would have acted the same if we started a thread in 2012 that said, "Would you vote for Trump in 2016?" And yet, here we are.

Close, it's regarding Trump, but not this exact thought.

At that point Trump had firmly asserted himself into politics by being the torch-bearer for the birther movement.

Honestly, maybe I am forgetting stuff about Kanye. But right now I really can't think of much outside of music + marriage to Kim K. :idunno:

If I'm not mistaken, and I very well could be, he's considered to be a very, very intelligent person, very well educated.

And he was mean to Taylor Swift.
