Which of these prolific offensive teams carry on their high scoring ways all the way to state and which ones likely make an early exit as the competition stiffens?

Trinity and Bowling Green.

The fact that they're both top five in the defensive standings help too.

Looks like Simon Kenton finally beat Trinity in something football related

That is total points scored some of the points could be from defense and special teams.

If you factor in strength of schedule Trinity has best offense. kind of deceptive statistic because real good teams pull starters and with running clock don't score as much as they could.

True, but even teams with top-notch defense and special teams units might get 20 percent of their scoring from those avenues. More likely is that good defense and special teams sets up offenses with short fields all night.

And teams scoring that much usually have starters our early. Think of # if they played whole game every game

When they actually find the end zone against Trinity they'll be awarded a moral victory. Otherwise, this is meaningless.

Mayfield, Trinity, Bowling Green, and Johnson Central

For example, Bardstown has had at least three games that I know of where they could've poured it on after getting a running clock, but pulled starters and had opposing teams make the games look much more respectable than they really were. I was surprised when I found out that the 58 points they scored last night was a season-high. Only reason that happened is because Western Hills kept trading TDs with them after Bardstown went up 37-7 to start the second half. They could easily have been on that list.
