Who do you think wins and why?

DeSales is in the film room as I type this early Saturday morning. The coaching staff holds Glasgow in high regard and were already preaching it to the boys after the game last night. The Colts are locked in right now, and I see them pulling away late for a two TD victory.

Desales wins this by a solid margin. They are firing on all cylinders right now and are currently on a 181-0 run with four shutouts in their last four games.

Not the stiffest competition the last 4 weeks, but impressive that we shut them to zero points without a hic-cup....The team gets A+ on those Quizs.. now on to a Test (Glasgow), pass that and on to Mid Term....lol, Go Colts !

This will end up like the Monroe Co. 2ND round game last year. Glasgow makes an early score or two and then the Colts step it up to win easily in the end.

Glasgows my sleeper. But Desales is the favorite.. With this game being in Glasgow they may be super pumped and if they stay in the game for a a while they will be confidence. So I think Desales needs to come in and out them away early.

I was much more concerned about Glasgow before they got thumped by E-town. What is their best win? I am familiar enough with Campbellsville, Holy Cross, Green, Monroe, Metcalfe & Shawnee not to be impressed by any of those wins. What about the wins against Barren, Allen, & Warren East? Would any of those be considered quality wins?

Against greenwood and etown, the 2 best teams on their schedule, the scotties were manhandled.

 

Though they have a solid about in dessi and good skill personnel, I expect the colts to roll.

Allen County is a good win, especially since I believe they beat them before their quarterback went down. I guess Warren East is an okay win. DeSales is the clear favorite here, although winning on the road can be tough.

DeSales will simply handle Glasgow much easier than others may think. Glasgow dominated their district but it was down badly. The 2nd seed from that District fell to a 2-8 squad in first round while the other two teams failed to score in their match ups. I see the ground attack of the Colts being way too much for the Scotties and will go out on a limb and say this one is a final at 42-14 in favor of DeSales!

DeSales put a running clock on Glasgow. Washington beating Metcalfe says a lot of Glasgow district.

I was looking at their film and they DO have some nice skill players. However, one of DeSales' strengths is their speed. They have three DBs that can catch you from behind, so it helps to limit the big play potential.
