I know it is still a big "if" but if she loses next week (and it seems much more possible than a week ago), what happens to the Clintons? I predict that their lives will almost immediately be ruined. Think about it...

 

(1) She will still be under FBI investigations for years. Whether you think she is innocent or guilty, being under FBI investigation is no fun.

(2) With neither of them ever being able to hold office again, her staff will now all be looking for jobs and may be ready to "talk" if pressured by the FBI. In short, they could turn on them to save their behinds.

(3) The Dems (and probably the mainstream media) will turn on them immediately. They will no longer need the Clintons and will be very mad at her for somehow managing to lose to a terrible candidate like Trump.

(4) The Clinton Foundation may as well shut down. Who is going to donate millions to anything with the Clinton name on it if she loses. We all know that most of the money donated to that Foundation was at least in some part due to potential influence that HRC as president could give.

(5) Their speaking fees will dry up almost immediately. Who is going to pay them 6 figures to give a speech when they are under FBI investigation and after she lost the election?

(6) Obviously, the R's will continue to hate everything Clinton and will take great pleasure in watching them suffer and maybe go to jail.

 

I really think the Clintons may as well move to their own private island and live on the hundred million or more they have "earned" since Bill was president. They won't have many friends to talk to IMO...

They will be fine and continue to get richer. Surely the GOP will govern and not chase her. She is done politically let the 70 year old woman go off into the sunset. Something tells me we will waste more tax payer $$ with this.

No reason to donate now, there is nothing either of them can do for you if you are a foreign country. It will survive as it has hundreds of millions of dollars in it, Chelsea will be left quite a nice little pile of cash when mom and pops kick the bucket.

Trey Gowdy should be given a blank check to begin an independent investigation into the Clinton Foundation and to revisit all of the evidence in the e-mail scandal. If prosecutable evidence is found, she she be tried. Same for Bill and Chelsea.

Which is insane. But given this precarious situation Obama is in because he communicated with her thru the unsecured email address, pardoning her ensures there is no charges on him. He will pardon her for the emails. Not the Clinton foundation.

No doubt he can, but if he does, it raises questions about whether or not he is doing it to shield himself from being implicated in the scandal. He will taint his already dubious legacy in the process.

Pardoning her in anticipation of conviction will not stop an investigation and full airing of the findings, including any involvement by Obama. I could live with that.
