On a serious note. I thought coming in that Covcath had a chance to win this game. Scott Co has an impressive offense, but I thought their defense was suspect against Highlands. Highlands gave Scott Co. a much better game than what they gave Covcath. I look for Covcath to host Bowling Green in the semi-finals.

Not sure how much truth there is but the story was the McKee refused to play under the temporary lights that CCH had in place. New temporary lights were brought in to replace the other temporary lights. Maybe that assuaged his concerns.

He was one of the top shot put and discuss as a Freshman last year.

Scott County rushed for 230 yards. They averaged 330 per game on the ground coming in.

Burton had 103 and Fryman had 100. Fryman also had 95 catching.

 

Mayer had 149 passing for CCH and McGinnis had 94 on the ground. Best had 2 TDs.

Looks to me Cov Cath might be the 2nd best team in NKY.
