October 28, 20169 yr Louisville's non-conference slate is looking pretty fun in the coming seasons. 2017: Meh. Purdue at Lucas Oil, Murray State and Kent State at home, at UK 2018: Alabama at the Citrus Bowl, WKU, Indiana State, and UK at home. 2019: This one I really like. Notre Dame and likely an unnamed buy game at home, WKU in Nashville, and at UK 2020: UK, WKU, and likely an unknown buy game at home and at Notre Dame.

Notre Dame and likely an unnamed buy game at home, WKU in Nashville, and at UK Of note on this 2019 schedule: unless the ACC presidents vote to alter it between now and then, this is the next year that Louisville would hit Miami in the divisional rotations. So in addition to this interesting non-conference slate, Louisville would get a home game against Clemson and road games against Florida State and Miami.

A game like that should involve people beyond them, given the extreme economic implications of it. If I'm the mayor and judge-exec in BG and Warren Co., I'm howling every time they play this BS game by shipping Ky tourism money to Tennessee. The Gov. too, for that matter.

Although, it's probably the difference between putting 2,000 and 40,000 Cards fans in the stadium.

If they go by my plan, tickets at BG go to highest bidder. What usually is a $20 ticket becomes a $65-70 one. For a game like that, it would be no problem selling those tickets and making just as much as you would in a stadium 3x as large. Make some EZ bleachers available for students at a cheap price and it's all good. Set up the campus for easy tailgating in the open lawn areas, set up a big screen outside for folks who can't get a ticket, and send all those folks to the bars and restaurants in BG before and after the game.
