The OMEGA Processing / ProScan Imaging Game of the Week webcast features Simon Kenton (8-0) vs Ryle (8-0).

 

This has been a much anticipated game in Northern Kentucky between the top two teams. Ryle has been our #1 ranked team pretty much all season with Simon Kenton at #2. Each team is undefeated and both are playing well.

 

Last week Simon Kenton took care of Campbell County 50-20 while Ryle held off Conner 42-28. The Pioneers are stacked on offense and have many players they can go to. They have 2 Quarterbacks in the top 10 in NKY combining for 2,124 yards and 25 TD’s with Cam Racke and Matt Shearer. And they have 3 Wide Receivers in the top 10 combining for 1,372 and 19 TD’s (Fisher Hayden, Sam Murray, Luke Vance).

 

Ryle’s offense has some very good threats as well with the trio of QB Tanner Morgan, RB Jacob Chisholm and WR Bryce Ashley. Morgan has thrown for 1,655 yards and 12 TD’s, Chisholm has rushed for 1,002 yards (#2 in NKY) and 13 TD’s, and Ashley has 45 receptions for 653 yards and 7 TD’s.

 

Overall these two teams are 7-7 against each other but Simon Kenton has won the past 5 games.

48:49 til kickoff. Got in stadium smoothly from South 42. Took Richwood Rd exit to Hicks Pike. Wife was in awe of my navigation without a GPS. Only thing she is in awe of.
