The report seems to hint at how the NCAA viewed this investigation. They placed specific dollar amounts on strip shows and paid sex acts and they ones they couldn't do that for, they didn't even mention. They asssigned a dollar amount because -- and this is just my opinion -- the NCAA views all of this through the prism of its amateurism rules and little else. Viewed through that lens, the ENTIRE dollar amount of all activities listed in the NOA is less than the amount of impermissible benefits that Kansas recruit Josh Selby received that resulted in just a one semester suspension. I don't know for sure what the NCAA will do, but I think the NOA gives us some pretty good hints that it's not going to monumental.

The NOA specifically mentions all the proactive steps -- including the self-imposed ban -- as mitigating factors in the possible sanctions resulting from Allegation No. 1, which is the one that detailed all the impermissible recruit and player benefits.
