Trump Fears!!!

Recommended Posts

Let's say that January 20th Donald Trump becomes President Trump. For those that oppose him what are your realistic fears of a Trump Presidency? Please no hyperbole, just honest opinion of what Trump will do that you are 100% opposed to.

Please back up your fears, if possible, and explain what concerns you about a particular issue and this candidate.

I fear that foreign policy will take a downward spiral and that his inability to talk to adults just as powerful as him will put the US in situations that we shouldn't be in.

I fear his child-like temperament will result in a presidency that makes a mockery of our country for his four years.

I fear that the false racial divide people speak of in our country will actually become a true racial divide that could become irrecoverable.

I fear that his mindset is not a mindset capable of making decisions for our country. The best thing Trump will do is bring republicans and democrats together. They will come together like never before to destroy him if he wins the election.

He is not mentally capable of presiding over one of the most powerful positions on the planet. I fear pretty much everything he could possibly do simply because I don't trust his brain to act accordingly.

Basically I feel like we will be in a war abroad and at home because of Trump's inability to appeal to anyone who isn't him or doesn't think like him. No one in our country likes being around people with Trump's personality. No one likes to hang around the arrogant blow hard who knows everything, is always right and when he fails at something he blames everyone else for his failures and has no accountability. We all like when that coworker with that attitude is moved out of our work space and we all like being as far away from that person with that personality. Vote for Trump though.........

In my case, no hyperbole at all. They guy literally scares me to death. The most unqualified - and it isn't close - of any Presidential candidate in my lifetime.

Really?

Really.

I've always said that keeping us out of war is my overarching issue with respect to Presidential candidates. Candidate Trump seems to have a vengeful streak/temperament that I (and it's just an opinion) believe would be disastrous.

I'm with Papa. I'm genuinely afraid of what Trump would do in office. He is not mature enough to handle the power that comes with the office. He wants to be President for one reason and one reason only, his ego. He has no intentions of "Making America Great Again." Worst Presidential candidate in American history, by far.

Also, PP said all that needed to be said.

I don't think he has any more of a vengeful attitude than his opponent has shown, not necessarily towards him but towards those she has dealt with over the years.. With us moving towards war right now, the next president may come in already embroiled in a war...hopefully not.

Trump talking of military action, he has said, is that you negotiate from strength, basically you take nothing off of the table before you start to negotiate.

It's like if I were to tell my kids they won't be spanked, grounded or punished before I tell them to do their homework or clean their room...what's the odds they do it?

Trump has made me appreciate W, McCain, Romney and to an extent, Sarah Palin. His candidacy has been as unbelievable as I expected it to be and I am truly amazed that he is the republican candidate. Truly amazed.

I feel like I am as anti-war as you are. I agree wholeheartedly.
