October 13, 20169 yr I just want to note, if you feel I haven't responded to something you wanted me to respond to in this forum, it's because I'm practicing what @Jaysie is preaching: Just move on. Why ratchet up the discourse. Life is short. Be happy. Is that enough cliches? Just my advice. So, from time to time I will post my thoughts. I will not be trying to persuade anyone of anything. I will not be debating. I will simply be posting the crap on my head that needs to be let out before I explode. @Jaysie has put into words the course on which I gave been consciously (yet painfully slowly) steering my life toward.
October 13, 20169 yr Any true informed American will exercise their right and their duty, and get out to vote for Donald Trump on November 28th.
October 13, 20169 yr Any true informed American will exercise their right and their duty, and get out to vote for Donald Trump on November 28th. This.

October 13, 20169 yr Any true informed American will exercise their right and their duty, and get out to vote for Donald Trump on November 28th. Haha it really feels like he doesn't even want to win.
October 13, 20169 yr Author I’m at the point where there’s nothing left to discuss. The candidacy of Donald Trump has simply been repugnant. A vote for the man is unconscionable. His ignorance of even the most basic knowledge of government and world affairs, his desire to use the power of the office he seeks to punish his enemies, the revanchist ideas he has elevated to the mainstream, and his apparent admiration for authoritarianism are potentially destructive to our republic unlike any other candidate or event in modern history. My only hope is he is beaten so soundly in November that the scourge of Trumpism is exorcised from our politics entirely. Then, the careers of those who have soullessly hitched themselves to his cause (from Pence to Hannity, et al) are ruined and the Republican Party reorients itself around a series of identifiable policy proposals to provide a viable opposition to Clinton and the Democratic Party – a necessity for a healthy democracy and sorely lacking this election - or is replaced by a party capable of doing it. Clinton’s policy ideas and beliefs ought to have been challenged and she ought to have been brought to electoral account over her insider-style opacity while in public office. Instead, this cretinous egomaniac who is only capable of vomiting out cheap slogans and boorish insults is what the Republican Party has presented as its opposition.

October 13, 20169 yr Not according to The Donald The worst part is that there will be some Trump supporters throughout the country trying to vote on the 28th of November.

I guess I'll go find another forum to play in. Tell the boss he can shut down the political forum again. Nothing else needs to be said.

October 13, 20169 yr Because I didn't know and I'm guessing I'm not alone..... Revanchist is French for revenge.
October 13, 20169 yr So I thought I liked this forum being back open but now it really just feels like I am watching some late night comedian show on Comedy Central/TBS.
