The $1.995M is likely a percentage of the estate rather than a specific dollar figure.

First thing I though of when I read the headline. I was thinking there must be some type of tax thing for giving under $2m.

Great story. NDA is a wonderful school. My experience with nuns is that they run a tight ship, so I doubt a penny will go to waste. It will be interesting to see how it is used.

For those wondering where the money is going, this news came out on the heels of the large donation announcement. To me, the Pandas are unmatched in NKY when it comes to the combination of academic + athletic success.
