I just want to say Thanks IM4RYLE on a great job keeping up with these freshman scores.:thumb:

Highlands frosh looked flat yesterday I thought. Fortunately their better talent allowed them to prevail. Ryle came out fired up and moved the ball pretty well at times against the Highlands D. Ryle has several very good running backs and they played the typical Ryle power offense. Ryle's passing game however was not that good. Our Offense seemed out of sync at times. At times we ran and passed the ball well; other times we did not. Probably because of the big win against CovCath last week (for which the Birds were definitely fired up). Easy to understand that high school kids won't be fired up each week, particularly freshmen. I doubt it was because they believe all the stuff written about them on here about how good they are (or at least I hope not). I'm quite confident that they'll be ready to play Campbell Co next week as the Camels will bring a very good team to Highlands and this game may decide which team from the East makes it to the championship game. Looks like the Camels are also very talented this year and it will take a very strong effort by the Birds to beat them. Every one, starters and non-starters, needs to work hard this week in practice. I can guarantee you that the Camels are going to come into your house fired up and are going to do their best to knock you off your perch. Go Birds.
