Is he to old I have looked at the thread but don't know?

 

What is "too old" for a FROSH? Are there written rules? I'd guess as long as he's on pace to be eligible all 4 years of high school, then he's fine.

The Holy Cross quarterback is not too old... He is currently on ineligible for academic reasons, thats all, if he gets his grades up he'll play again

HHS 8-0 meets Undefeated Dixie for the chance to play Conner for the NK Frosh Title. The game is at Highlands Thursday 10/19 5:30.

The score for tonight's Conner/ Campbell County game was 12-0 Campbell. Congratulations to Campbell. Their boys played hard. One thing, and this is not to take away from Campbell's win, the officiating for this game was probably the worst I have seen at any level. I have said this before about the overall officiating in Northern Kentucky and tonight reaffirmed what I and many others have seen. We have been on the winning side of many games this year and still have seen and said the same thing.

Speaking of officiating, one play I didn't understand was toward the very end of the game. Conner had the ball with 4th down, threw a pass that was caught and run in for a touchdown. However, offensive pass interference was called. They marched it off, it seemed from the original line of scrimmage, but then gave the ball to CC. The announcer said the penalty was declined but that would have resulted in a touchdown. Not sure what happened there.

There was that play and the first one Campbell scored on where they said there were ineligible players downfield for Campbell, there were and they picked up and the flag. The fourth down play/penalty had all of us confused.If the penalty was declined, it would have been a touchdown. If they took the penalty, then it should have been Conner ball. Conner also should have had a touchdown earlier, the ball broke the plane on the endzone before the back went down and yet they spotted the ball on the 6 inch line and gave the ball to Campbell.

 

Like I said earlier, Campbell's kids played hard and got the win. But the officiating at all levels has been terrible this year.
