Corbin vs. South Laurel

Featured Replies

I think Corbin will be able to pull this one out. They've been in this position of losing before and I think they'll turn this season around and let's hope this is not a repeat of last year. Im sure they've been working hard on they're offense and made some tweaks as well as on defense with the pass coverage. Expect to see some new faces on both sides of the ball this week. South has been passing much more this season..not the traditional cards we're use to seeing that tend to be a running team. This friday will be a tough game for both coming off a 0-2 season start.

It would be hard for South to pass much more than they have the past couple of years from what i remember......

Who are some of the new faces? What has happened to C.J. Light & Joel Mitchell, two juniors who started some games last year as sophs? I can't recall seeing either play against Oldham Co.

When is the last time you watched a SL team? They have been a pass first team for several years. Last year, Bowling put up 3000 yards passing as a frosh and they haven't had a 1000 yard rusher since Josh Lee (QB) a few years back.

South hasn't been a 'running team' since 1996 when Neil Warren stepped in as quarterback.

Redhounds need a win over a quality local team, this will be the week the do it.

Anybody know exactly what is wrong with freeman? Did see him on crutched but didn't get a chance to talk to him.

I was told that it was an ACL and that he was out for the year. Unofficial source though, so hopefully they were wrong.
