Corbin vs. South Laurel

I heard miniscus tear but that's just speculation too. Pretty sure it's over for Blake though. That's too bad for him. He's a good kid and a fine ball player that deserves good things. Hopefully someone will be able to step up in his shoes. I hate for it to be at Blakes expense but I'd like to see a backfield of Josh Martin and Mike Campbell now. With Sanders and Sewell split out with Madon at TE and those two in the backfield, we could see a nice mixture of the power game and/or air raid. Not to mention having a player like French who could power it, or run routes.

We need the hard running of Sanders in the backfield, that kid only see's one thing when he is runnin the ball and that is day light. He gives 110% to get there too.

I agree with you on that. Sanders definately needs to be running the ball as I feel he is one of if not the biggest threat on the team. However, he doesn't seem to be the type of back that you can run up the middle with play in and play out.

No not by his size but the kids heart is as big as campbell field. If i needed a big 4 or 5 yards he would be my man, because i know that that kid will do it. He does what it take to get it done. He plays with that reckless abandon that makes football so exciting to watch.

Sanders runs hard, has good balance and is extremely stong. He does not possess breakaway speed, so run him and Campbell between the tackles and Sewell on the outside and maybe try to eventually work Watkins and Fritts into the mix.

Martin is so valuable to the defense and his history of injury problems may keep him out of the backfield.

I agree about Martin's value to the D but I think he is the best back of the bunch when you combine everything up. I know it was only against Pineville but I was really impressed with him. :madman: :madman: :madman: to Dudley Hilton!!! If we only had T.R. like we were supposed to this year.

I agree, Campbell and Sanders are definatley inside runners. Never seen a fullback block like campbell does. Love the way Sanders Sacrifices him self everysigle play. Sewell is very fast and a very gutsy kid, but at some point when he gets outside he has to cut back to the middle and then out run'em to pay dirt.

should be a very good game.

Love everyone's prediction! Hope you are right. SL can be dangerous. Watched them this year, their screens can be hard to stop. Would love to see Sanders and Martin concentrate on defense and put French and Campbell in the backfield. I've watched them since they were little, Now their men!!!

should be a very good game.

Which Sideline will you be shooting from?:D

To be honest, I'll be covering the game, BUT I won't be shooting it. I'll be in the press box, my boss Bill Hanson will be shooting it. If I were shooting the game I would shoot one half on Corbin's side and the other on South's. That's how I've always done in the past. I'm expecting a good game tonight.

I hope its a little lop sided to be honest with you

PS like the Bengals hat

Who dey, baby! Should be a good year for the Bengals.....for the game, To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it wwas a blowout or a close game.

But truthfully, it shouldn't matter what sideline you are standing on — you go to where you have the best angle to shoot from. If that means you're shooting from the parking lot, so be it!

Please-o-please Lord, let this be an entertaining game! I can't stand blowouts, no matter who's doing it.
