No disrespect taken. It may be a running clock in the first half. No one is trying to take anything away from Bowling Green. In my opinion as I stated earlier they are in the top 3 teams in the state maybe the best team. As far as John Hardin letting Central hang around, I've been to every Central game this year and that was the worst I have seen them play. John made stupid penalties yes but lets not forget that they never scored a point in the second half. John Hardin was not a dominating team minus the penalties. Good luck to John Hardin the rest of the year hope they win out.

Good luck Bowling Green. I admire your program and its consistency, from the middle school program with 83 kids to the dominating high school program. Take it easy on Central Hardin this Friday

Sorry, I thought it was like last year! I got cross-bracketed....:isurrender::isurrender::isurrender:

Hey, you were right about them not meeting in the playoffs, just not for the reasons that you probably thought.

My money would be on it being a Male vs Trinity for state champ

The latest they could meet is the semis not the championship.

Unless, you mean one of those two will be the champ in the end. I would agree with that.

My bad I guess I misunderstood the info that was posted cause I thought it was showing they could meet for the championship. I stay with it being whichever one of them advances to the championship will win it no matter who they are playing.

I was hoping to ask a Bruin fan that question. Again I don't mean to be disrespectful but I had heard a lot of good things from them and when I saw it in person I really thought they were missing some people due to injury or something. I hope it didn't sound like I was insinuating JH was dominate....I do think they had some chances in the first half to put that game away though. What's the deal with Hobbs, do you think he will go back to being the back up. It seemed Iler might have been a little bit better handle on the offense.

I believe that when Trae Talley, RB for Central Hardin got injured in the first game against Mercer County, that forced the hand of the Central Coaches to utilize Iler in the backfield as a RB/WR. Jacob Hobbs is only a Sophomore, has played surprisingly well for being thrown into a starting role as QB with little experience. Hobbs has a nice arm and is getting better every game with the experience that he is gaining.

Iler has more experience and makes better on field decisions but has been effective at the RB position. My only question is why Darious Barbour is not being utilized more in the last 2 games? Not sure if he is banged up. Seemed like Central came out throwing the ball more in the first half vs John than I have seen in recent memory. Central will be all right with the district coming down to the North game on October 21st. Central's region in the playoffs includes Trinity and Ballard. Ouch

Iler starts on D as well as being a RB in the last 4 games after starting the Mercer County game at QB and splitting the snaps almost 50% with Hobbs in that game. There has been some nicks and bruises on CH this season in every game. Barbour has had a couple of big games and the D has really focused on him as of late, so I'm thinking they are trying to use other weapons. In the wing T you need to establish the fullback. Hobbs is just a sophomore this is true, but looks comfortable for the most part and had a breakout performance against PT rushing for 107yds and a TD while throwing for close to 100yds and had a huge 74yd TD run against Warren South to ignite that comeback. Iler, I believe is important on D more than O- but experience is extremely valuable when it comes to High school football on O. This 3 game stretch is murders row but in the long run will make CH better and have a chance at winning another district title. A couple of this change against JH and CH wins that one by 2 TDs, but alas JH did what was needed to win. Has off to them. BG is on another level and I think is best team in the State! Stay healthy and safe this game is main issue for CH and learn what they need to do to win going forward! Like @k2002j , I love watching the Bruins play every Friday night and will cheer them on from here on out!

It just seemed as a whole something wasn't quite right with Central against JH....alot of would've could've should'ves but if you watched that game, JH marched up and down the field...again you can count on John to get some crucial holding calls and PF calls.

I'm not sure what was wrong with Central but it was the worst they have played all season. No flow on offense at all and defense was back on their heels the whole first half. Hobbs has a nice arm and has progressed alot with the experience he gotten this season. He did take a pretty big hit in the first half that knocked his helmet off. Barbour was banged and bruised up after South Warren which focused their defense on him and he took some big hits that night and John was focused on him as well and he got the wood layed to him a couple then. Nice win for John. Get rid of the silly penalties and they can make a run. They have the talent.

Does Bowling Green live stream their games?

HCP,

I believe you can go to this link to access video streaming of game. Be aware though that this is their first year doing the video and sometimes it is off just a bit. Try this:

You should be able to get there from here.

Ok, Thanks and tread lightly tonight!!

You're welcome!:thumb:

I think Ziyon Kenner is out for this game, but that's the only injury I know of. I wish both teams a great game and no injuries! :)
