What are the sweet 16 teams this year? Use the same regions as basketball, which teams are making it out of district tourneys and winning their regions??

 

I'm gonna give a top 2, my guess at the regional championship.

 

I'll give it a stab:

 

(I admit, some of these are big stabs in the dark...)

 

1st: Mayfield/McCracken

2nd: Christian County/Hopkinsville

3rd: O-Cath/Owensboro

4th: Bowling Green/South Warren

5th: North Hardin/Taylor County

6th: PRP/Holy Cross

7th: T/St. X

8th: SK/Collins

9th: Ryle/Highlands

10th: Campbell/Nicholas

11th: Scott Co/Lafayette

12th: Mercer/Wayne

13th: Harlan Co./Corbing

14th: Hazard/Breathitt

15th: Johnson Central/Belfry

It would be Ryle, for sure, and Cooper / CovCath / Highlands for the other spot then. I'd think.

I would like to see football brought down to 4 classes. 6 is just too much, and gets confusing

16th would be Ashland and Raceland.

No way you take Mercer or Wayne over Boyle.

8th Region championship would be SK/South Oldham IMO. A Collins/South Oldham match-up to get there would be a heck of a game.
