post well taken

I thought I would just make a comment since the Raceland contingent are so assured of eating pastries this fri night yes East is down and yes Raceland will more than likely win but it seems a bit like you guys think East won't showup least just remember this isn't the same program that it was pre -Damron they will compete.

Bleacher I hope that I can speak mostly for the players and coaches at Raceland and the fans in that No One in Raceland is taking East or anyone lightly (at least I hope not). I think cville is correct in saying that we are not disrespecting th Raiders in any way.

By the way, does anyone know if East Carter games are carried on any radio station? If so what station, any info would be appreciated. Raceland's coverage is on delayed on Sat. mornings and I was just wondering if anyone would carry the game live.

102.3 FM they swap between East and West so not sure but will find out shortly and post

Thanks Big Fig and bleacherbum for the info.

I think the Rams come ready to play and win this one. Coach Damron will have his raiders ready, but the Rams are more talented this year. Should be a good game, I hope I can make it.

Raceland by 2 TDs

Raceland 42-13.

Thanks Big Fig and bleacherbum for the info.

Ram fans need to be asking around to see if we can get the radio station that does our ballgames on Saturday morning some sponsers. Families were notified that they needed sponsorship to stay on the air. Maybe some of the politicians running for office will donate to keep us on the air.

Oldram, I sent you a PM.

This a little off topic but does anyone know why Portsmouth West was a no show on the JV game tonight with Raceland? The story I received was that the Ram JV traveled to Portsmouth West only to be met by an empty stadium. Maybe it was a communication breakdown between the two schools. With the price of gas, should a phone call be necessary sometime during the day to confirm that the game is on? Tough to take for the kids, they just want to play some football.
