Good to see that the Rams are focused and playing one game at a time. The defense is much improved as oldram stated as they are now in their 2nd year of the new scheme. My nickname for the LB's are "The Nasty Boys" they will flat out hit you!!!

Game conditions will be bad for both teams so the game could be decided by To"s. or lack there of. Good luck to both teams & I hope the kids play injury free.

By the way, does anyone know if East Carter games are carried on any radio station? If so what station, any info would be appreciated. Raceland's coverage is on delayed on Sat. mornings and I was just wondering if anyone would carry the game live.

Raceland is a very good offensive team. Grizzle has several weapons to choose from, Mullins, Beach, Deskins, Boyles, Denton, and Mckenzie just to name a few. But what people might overlook is just how tough the Raceland defense is this year. The Raceland defense, led by linebacker J.T. Forrest, is based on speed and pursuit. The rams really get to the football. I think that could give East Carter's young offensive line fits this friday. Be ready for some sloppy field conditions, looks like the rain is coming... Reminds me of some of the defenses in years past when that was what Raceland was known for. Has anyone said anything abou the possibility of the game being moved to Sat. night due to field conditions? I don't think that it will but I have heard it suggested in some other games this week. Imo this kind of rain would hurt anyones offense, if the game is played (Ashland/Russell has been postponed to Sat. night). Raceland has much more than just an air attack this season. They are more than capable of running the football and doing so effectively.

Has anyone heard if this game will still be played tonight. Reason being is that I just heard that Boyd Co. schools were dismissing early due to rain/flood conditions and that the Ashland/Russell game has been postponed to Sat. Night. If anyone hears anything on the Raceland/East game please post it as I will be checking during the day and/or please send me a pm on it. Thank you.

Practice is going well for the Raiders. Even though East has won the last 3 meetings in the series, there seems to be a ton of respect here in Grayson for the Rams. Raceland may be the best offensive team East sees all year.
