Litkenhous Ratings

The computer came up with an interesting season opening list.

I have came to the conclusion that McCracken County has brirbed the Litkenhouse Computer

Every single year the Mustangs are far and away the most overrated team in the Lit Ratings (not saying they are overrated in general, just in this computer formula).

I am not sure if a decimal was moved when they were first entered or what..but they consistently seem to be 10-15 spots higher than they actually should be.

The LIT has South Warren at #10 in 4A.

Insert complaints from CovCath fans who don't realize that LIT doesn't figure in out of state games. :lol2:

Well these ranking certainly are not what I expected. It's really not that big of deal, but for discussion sakes it's interesting.

Some things that stood out to me.

Greenwood has a lower number than South Warren.

Bowling Green is 4th. Simon Kenton and McCracken ranked above BG doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.

BG overall number is a little too. Look how close they are with some other schools, especially though in lower classes. I don't get it.

This is Litkenhous, and not only that, but it's the first Litkenhous of the year, so obviously this needs to be taken with a GIGANTIC grain of salt, but having Beechwood ranked above Ryle is crazy talk.

Could someone post the ratings? I cant get them to open. Thanks in advance.

The Litratings are based on final scores. BG only beat John Hardin by 26 and Christian County by 20. The ratings do not take into account who was on the field when the games got much closer than there were when the running clock began. Early season computer ratings lack the data to make an accurate comparison of teams. 6A- 13 teams better than Manual or St. X, doubtful 5A- 8 teams better than Fern Creek, 12 teams better than Greenwood, not likely 4A- My guess is that there are not 9 teams better than South Warren and 9 teams worse than Warren Central
