Two old Louisville rivals meet this weekend. Central is winless while St. X is smarting from a loss to Bowling Green. Who gets better this Friday?

Ridder returns to the lineup this week, should allow X to win this matchup. Central doesn't seem like the Central of "old".

I really feel like X just overlooked Central last year. They won't make that mistake a second time.

Would expect with Ridder back in the line-up, the X offense will finally open up the "flavor" of play calls. Maybe see a little vanilla/chocolate SWIRL action this week. CRAZY thought I know.... After a brutal opening schedule, I see X dominating this one starting at the line of scrimmage and carrying over to all facuets of the game. X 31- 13

Central will not fair well this Friday. Their kicking game will hurt them. St X will utilize their ball control offense and wear the Yellowjackets down. St X 42-14.

Everything says "X wins big" but everytime I hear those voices abut Central low and behold they play someone close

May be, but to be fair, they have been playing without arguably their 2 best offensive players. Let's see if they make a difference. I'd say they will.

I think this X team is average, but with the exception of 2013, they've been average for the last couple of years. These games are typically close; I don't think X will blow them out, but will put up 28 points and keep Central's offense in check.

They've played Central consistently since 2001. Most years this isn't a "drop" in class as Central has been very good and better than most 6A schools around.

 

Reasoning to keep scheduling Central has much more to do with the fact that St. X scheduled Central back in the 50s and 60s, when racial tensions where high.
