Western Kentucky 46 Rice 14

Impressive game for the Tops and Mike White. WKU second best college team in the state, behind the Cards.

A far cry from the 26-game losing streak I witnessed as a student...

Fant 5 catches 44 yards 1 td

Baker 9 carries 47 yards

Taylor 5 catches 165 yards

Norris 7 catches 147 yards 2 tds

Wales 58 yards.

Made some good plays? Did he get any carries, or make some good blocks or what?

Carried the rock well. Almost housed one.....broke a LB's ankles in the box...juked him out of his shoes...kind of got tripped up a little which allowed some pursuit to catch up with him; but, it was a glimpse to the rest of the world as to what you all have been seeing all along.

WKU looked very impressive, however it was against Rice. That said they have a lot of play makers on offense. Be interesting to see how they stack up against Bama.

As far as them being the 2nd best team in the state that is probably true. However I will at least wait and see how the Cats look tomorrow before making that decision.

I can't say enough about Brohm. Rexaled, aggressive, rolls the dice as a play-caller. Develops and then gets the most out of his qb's.

I just hope he stays at WKU.

They were favored by 17 and won by 32.

They don't stack up against Bama just like they didn't stack up vs LSU last year. The main difference will be on the LOS on both sides of the ball.

Thanks for the info. I hope he keeps his head on straight and has a great career.

It's weird because I think the one job he wants is Louisville and thats not going to be open unless Petrino is caught with cocaine and hookers on video.

Same here. Great kid from the week I was able to be around him last year.

Two things in that statement.

1) True

2) Hilarious (and, potential there for that to be true) :lol2:

Depends on Petrino's record. I could see a 2 game suspension from that. :) (We kid because we care.)

I wonder if he and Vandy would consider each other. I think the Commodores will be looking for a coach after this year as Mason just seems in over his head. Vandy's a tough place to build a program up, but it might be interesting to see if he can try to do what Kentucky did in the 90s and build a big offensive power in the SEC East that can steal some games every once in a while.

If I were him I would take it in a heartbeat.
