Looked clean to me. If I was the SW player I wouldn't be mad about it. It's happened to me before and I just got up, shook the guys hand and said nice block.

Rules have changed and not the same as 10 years ago. With the concussion studies and the affects they cause now days it seems that the rules are to try to avoid players from receiving blind hits at all cost. The NFL started with protecting the quarterbacks and wide receivers on what was legal hits to now illegal. I can remember a hit Warren Sapp smacked on Bret Farve after a interception that was legal at the time, but today not so. Rules trickle down to College and High School. Now, I'm old school and don't like it but that is the world we leave in today.

They probably would have thrown the flag if the kid had of left his feet and launched, but he never left his feet and looked to be a shoulder to shoulder hit without leading with his helmet...

Exactly right according to the rules clinic Its a flag. It's a point of emphasis now. He was a defenseless player.

They don't have to be helmet to helmet. Not trying to argue. But if you watch the rules clinic that same type of hit was showed as a penalty. Just saying.

They should also catch flak for the TD they took away from Danville but it all worked out. Several bad calls both ways.
