Raceland 28-6. I do think the speed of the Comet defense will give Raceland some fits. Kouns will be one of the best LB's they face all year.

I can't speak for @RaiderPride5, but I think Raceland is currently closer to a finished product than the Comets are. West lost so much that it's likely to take them a while to round into shape. Raceland, on the other hand, looks like they might come out of the gate smoking.

Having said that, I still think Raceland would win no matter when the game is played. But, it would probably be a better game if it were played later in the year.

Based on how the Grid played out, I'll take the Rams by 3 scores. The fact that West hung tough against a Greenup team that a lot of people are expecting to be pretty good, gives me reason to think this one might be interesting for a little while.

Exactly this.

I do agree that Raceland would likely win, but West will still be faster than the Rams this year. Raceland will be the better team this year (unlike last year).

Both teams could win their respective districts this year in my opinion

I feel sure you're right about the WC speed. I just was going to add that imo and from reports is that Raceland has a lot more speed than last season.

If West can get three scores on a strong Raceland defense, it will be an excellent game. If Raceland's offense proves to be to much for the Comets they will poor it on, I don't think beating West Carter is a statement win by no means for Raceland, but struggling with them is something that Raceland doesn't want to start their season out with. This game will be won up front with Raceland having a tremendous advantage, maybe a dominate advantage. West Carter will not have a explosive offense like they did last year, but they still have skill that can score for anywhere on the field. I hope West can come out and play hard and put some drives together and make a game of it.

I don't care if it's 6-0 as long as the Rams win.Thats all you want to do the first game of the season is just win

I'm sure all but a few Raceland fans want to see more than 6 points. If Raceland scores only 6 after putting up what they did last week then they will need to work harder.. But I do not expect 1- Touchdown for the Rams. I expect atleast 4. I also hope they keep sharing the ball around.

Bac....are you our new adopted Ram fan for the year?????

He's a Ram fan. We both want to see Raceland play Hazard again, that hasn't happened in quite some time.

I do believe the last time was 90???

At Hazard and we won.....right Ram??

Yes I do. I figured for sure in 2008 it was sure to happen. But I wouldn't mind to see it this year as well.

So far, so good. We appear healthy and ready to start the season.
