Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 I just got that on my phone. It's a vacant cold storage building near 6th and Main leaking ammonia.
rockmom Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Crap. My son works in that area and right now they are living in the Residence Inn in that area.

plantmanky Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Wow what are the odds for two of these warnings in the same day.
UKMustangFan Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 What the hell is going on in Kentucky today? First Falmouth, now this?
Getslow Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 I've been watching that structure fall apart for a while now. Supposed to be at a game right across 65 at Slugger Field tonight. Hopefully they can cap this soon.

CincySportsFan Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 What happened in Falmouth? Train derailment. Sulfuric acid being transported in at least one of the cars.
Getslow Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 The structure is a mess. Owned, I believe, by the Transportation Cabinet. No privately owned building would've been permitted to deteriorate like that without improvement or demolition.
Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Train derailment. Sulfuric acid being transported in at least one of the cars. Oh my...
Getslow Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Phrase used by a local reporter is "data gap" on inspections from time the state bought the property as part of the I-65 expansion. Existing reports mention exposed tanks but demonstrate lack of clarity as to whether tanks had been emptied or not. Just unbelievable.
