Shooting someone who is no longer a threat to you that is running away from you could be seen as murder.

 

If we are going to damn the criminal for using the car against the officers (we should, he was clearly breaking the law), the same must be done for the cop.

 

If they shot him while he was coming towards them in the car, it is 100% justified as they were in immediate danger. Shooting him after he was running away is not.

It's to the point where I am so tired of all this garbage and the making martyr's out of common thugs and punks who constantly break the law and put Officers lives in danger in the process that I'm to the point of good riddance to the idiots who continue to put police officers lives in danger and then have the politically over-correct public crucify the police for doing their jobs.

Is it not the cops job to protect the citizens? How are they protecting us by letting someone who attempted to murder people, just run away?

Here is something that is being forgotten by many inhere or just has not been thought of. Did anyone watch the entire video? Did you hear one of the officers say "they were shooting at us" and then "He shot at us right?" The officers heard over the radio shots fired, they arrived on scene and saw officers shooting at the suspect and ended up chasing him, who is to say the ones chasing and shooting the man didn't think he was shooting at the other officers?
