It comes off as you trying to show an example of non lethal being used in reposes to lethal. of course there are examples of non lethal. Tasers' date=' pepper spray, bean bags, ect... Police use these every day.[/quote']

Gotcha. Wasn't the intent. Lethal deserves lethal. No question.

So many ad hominem attacks.

Come on, I know you got some more trash you can come up with.

Agreed. Should have been used in the LA case with the guy who was sleeping in the yard.

They did use foam bullets on the guy sleeping in the yard. And flash bangs. Guy got up and charged the swat vehicle.

We all agree lethal is required if the officer is in danger.

The fair question to ask is what danger was being faced by the SWAT team that required lethal force vs non-lethal?

Then why post it with no comment, leading everyone to think you're feelings are otherwise?

What type of comment? Someone said police should consider using non-lethal. I gave an example of the police using no -lethal.

Challenge is two-fold:

Brevity due to typing while driving

People reading into posts without asking clarifying questions

So the dude was sleep walking when he charged at the cops?

He "charged" an armored vehicle. What was he going to do to officers dent the Bearcat or scuff the paint?

The officers have been "relieved of their police duties" which is not the same as being fired but more severe than a suspension.

Coroner said no drugs were in the victim's system and it has been ruled a homicide. Note: a coroner saying it's homicide does not mean the officer was legally wrong for firing. It's just a factual description of the death. Negligence/fault is still being determined.

The city is refusing to release the names of the three officers citing safety concerns.
