The fair question to ask is what danger was being faced by the SWAT team that required lethal force vs non-lethal?

August 23, 201610 yr The officers have been "relieved of their police duties" which is not the same as being fired but more severe than a suspension. Coroner said no drugs were in the victim's system and it has been ruled a homicide. Note: a coroner saying it's homicide does not mean the officer was legally wrong for firing. It's just a factual description of the death. Negligence/fault is still being determined. The city is refusing to release the names of the three officers citing safety concerns.
