August 4, 201610 yr I'm not on the "left", but as far as what I want the SCOTUS to do is quite simple. I want them to make well-thought out, logical well-reasoned decisions and opinions on the cases they hear. Whether I agree or disagree with the decision is secondary to me. As long as the reasoning is sound, I'm cool with it. I agree with this 100%. What I fear many on the Left want are far Left justices that will legislate from the bench. I want moderate justices that make well thought out decisions based on the Constitution, not their political beliefs.

I will also add that while I do agree, for the most part, regarding the Constitution, I think it's prudent to remember that it is a couple hundred year old document that inevitably will need changes as society and the world evolve. I'm not completely against changes, or for changes, however I feel any changes that are made need to be done with the utmost scrutiny and sound rationale and should not be taken lightly.

I was simply saying the Constitution is something that will eventually need changing as it will continually grow out-dated and become stall as time passes.
