6thregionguy Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Louisville Valley is now open. Coach moved out of state and the whole slew of talented juniors are now all transferring out.
Realreason Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016  This should be interesting, because there are definitely some talented kids if they decide to start moving
Wireman Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Did a bunch or jobs open up? Did a whole group of parents suddenly decide to move?
plantmanky Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Did a bunch or jobs open up? Did a whole group of parents suddenly decide to move? Dude its JCPS, you know how it works.
Sparky Anderson Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Coach lasted (1) year longer than I thought he would. He talked about changing the culture, but all he did was add fuel to the fire. Yes, they have / had some talent, but if you let the inmates run the asylum, you aren't going to change anything. They will take the easy route and give it to the assistant coach who has (2) boys in the program (just like they did with football), but that won't change anything.
TheVille30 Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Some schools in JCPS just can't keep a coach. I would expect some kids to end up at Doss or Jtown...
6thregionguy Posted July 26, 2016 Author Posted July 26, 2016 its what you get when you bring in a guy just because he coached the kids in middle school.
6thregionguy Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 Another coach with big AAU ties getting the job.
Outsidelookingin Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Most AAU guys don't have teaching certificates??
HoopJunkie Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Most AAU guys don't have teaching certificates?? You don't have to be a teacher to coach. You really don't even have to work in the building.
GoHardITP Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 And that would be whom? Just call it a prediction if you are not wanting to let the cat out of the bag. LOL

Very true...the Para-professional rule. However, you are required to have a minimum number of college credits (60 something hours I believe) and have to take all the required instructional class all coaches are required to take (heat stress, etc.)
