Louisville Valley is now open. Coach moved out of state and the whole slew of talented juniors are now all transferring out.

Any info on where the transfers are going?

Dude its JCPS, you know how it works.

Coach lasted (1) year longer than I thought he would. He talked about changing the culture, but all he did was add fuel to the fire. Yes, they have / had some talent, but if you let the inmates run the asylum, you aren't going to change anything. They will take the easy route and give it to the assistant coach who has (2) boys in the program (just like they did with football), but that won't change anything.

Some schools in JCPS just can't keep a coach. I would expect some kids to end up at Doss or Jtown...

its what you get when you bring in a guy just because he coached the kids in middle school.

You don't have to be a teacher to coach. You really don't even have to work in the building.

Very true...the Para-professional rule. However, you are required to have a minimum number of college credits (60 something hours I believe) and have to take all the required instructional class all coaches are required to take (heat stress, etc.)
