Jesse James Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Election Update: 1 Questions About Where The 216 Race Stands | FiveThirtyEight Another review of how the election sits today. Of course nobody can be ahead of Hillary, ever. Was waiting for this.
Hellcats Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 More than one article was written this week. Should have asked a mod to close the thread if nobody was allowed to post in it. :idunno: 538 does some of the best work next to RCP of gathering info and weighing the probabilities. The article pointed at a trend that has Big Donald going up and Hillary down nationally, but also spoke of the fact she was trending up in battleground states. Some interesting stuff that had no partisan leanings.
Jesse James Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Its just a normal pattern Hellcats. That was my point.
Hellcats Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Title of the thread was latest Polls. You posted one. I gave ya another. :lol2:
mcpapa Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Fivethirtyeight is ol pap's go-to source. No matter what they say.
75center Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Of course nobody can be ahead of Hillary, ever. Was waiting for this. 538 is solid.
Hellcats Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Clinton leads Trump by 12 points ahead of Republican convention: Reuters/Ipsos poll | Reuters This is what you expected @Jesse James
Clyde Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 538 has HRC now with 66% chance of winning. Dropped in the last week or so.
Jesse James Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 Clinton leads Trump by 12 points ahead of Republican convention: Reuters/Ipsos poll | Reuters This is what you expected @Jesse James Ill be honest Hellcats. That does not surprise me with different polls saying far different things. I have had alot of people lately tell me that when the curtain closes that they are gonna pull the Trump lever. Alot of them Dems that I would never have dreamed that would ever have came out of their mouths. Times are changing fast Hellcats and I am afraid like in the Gov election in Kentucky this might be a surprise to some on here. For what its worth I have been on the road with the AAU program we run and this came from several states I was hearing this from. Im gonna be in Atlanta and Augusta the second half of the month and am gonna keep talking politics with my friends that are from all over America just like I did in the two last sessions. This is not as cut and dried as you and some here think.

Even with those who say they are frustrated and close the curtain and vote for Big Don.

Even with those who say they are frustrated and close the curtain and vote for Big Don. More are gonna close the curtain and vote for Big Don Hellcats. Wait and see. We dont have much longer to wait either. Remember a year ago YOU said he had no chance to even win the nomination as did OTHERS on here. Things certainly have changed.
Hellcats Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Jj, you also said they'd put HRC in jail. We both have some opinions that have been incorrect. Trump will win the states you're playing the bouncy ball in though: KY and GA. His concerns will be OH, FL, VA, and NC: gotta win them all.

Trump will win the states you're playing the bouncy ball in though: KY and GA. His concerns will be OH, FL, VA, and NC: gotta win them all. Hellcats I have been playing ball in Kentucky and Tennessee but there have been teams from all 50 states here with me. Those are the people that I talk to. No doubt Trump will win KY and TN. Its the other states I am interested. None of what I was talking about was people from this area. When you really get to talking with people you would be surprised what they are saying. We see the coverage of the protests( mostly paid ) at the Trump rallies and such and think Wow no way he can win. We see the polls like you posted and alot thinks Wow he cant win. What not taken to account is the most Americans are fed up with business as usual and will vote that out. I never said she would be in jail, I said she needs to be.
