Are you a "sweater"?

Featured Replies

I sweat, and it doesn't take much for me to work up one, always have been that way. I have a small group of guys that I walk with at break here at work, twice a day. Most all of them wear a long sleeve shirt into the office most days...even days when the temps are over 90 deg with the sun beating down. And they walk with those long sleeves on. Me, I change into gym shorts and a thin t-shirt so I'm not stewing in sweat at my desk in my work clothes when I get done walking. We get done and sweat is dripping off me. You can't even tell they6 were outside, not by looking at them anyway. If I wore my pants and a long sleeve shirt to walk in on hot summer days, If be so wet I'd have to go somewhere and take a shower. I don't know how they do it or why they don't seemingly sweat...and it has been the topic of conversation on our walks a time or two.

I know sweating is the body's "air conditioner" and how it cools your temp down, and have read where better conditioned athletes usually sweat highly and helps make them more efficient. Yes, I was in phenomenal shape at one time...ehhhhhh, not so much now, but I wonder if that might have at least a part in it.

If you are sweating more than them, that's a good thing.

I sweat a lot when I am active outside this time of year. I've been walking 5 miles in Cherokee Park three times a week, and it is running off me at times while I'm exercising.

I sweat all day long, inside outside it dont matter. Always have.

I played 18 last night, walked the front, rode the back...when I got done I wouldn't have been any wetter had I jumped into the pond on #8, literally.

A couple of nights last week it was really hot/humid in the park. I could wring my shirt out when I was done.

I just want to know if any of you uses a sweat towel when you're eating?

Any time I'm at the Golden Corral, it never fails that I'll see a big guy there with a workout towel around his neck who is sweating like crazy just from eating!!

I'll work up a big sweat when cooking, but not when I eat. However, we have a guy here at work that sweats like crazy when he eats, not a big guy either. And he's not a heavy sweater otherwise, just sweats when he eats, craziest thing.

I used to do that when I played basketball outside in the summer. If I'm really active and it is the least bit warm I'll sweat quite a bit. That said, I don't sweat much anymore :)

This is precisely why I never sit outside at a restaurant, because I probably would, especially this time of year.

Oh yeah, if sitting outside, definitely.

That guy must really like his Golden Corral. If he's that big, it shows some really poor planning. I know it's a buffet but you have to get up to get your own food. The better option is having the food delivered to you so you don't have to get up

I don't sweat, at least naturally. I have to take medicine to be able to sweat the little bit that I do. Sounds nice, but it's an awful condition to have without medicine.

Absolutely a sweater. After most Reds games, you would have thought I swam the Ohio River to get back to Newport where I park.

Definitely a major sweater at the gym too.
